Yahoo has released its Q4 and fiscal year 2008 earnings results. Revenues were down to $1.806 billion in Q4, a 1% decrease from the same period in 2007 when revenues were $1.832 billion. For the year, however, revenues were up 3% over 2007 from $6.969 billion to $7.209 billion.
 

Survey: More DM layoffs, hiring cuts expected

Direct marketers expect more layoffs, hiring freezes and cutbacks in hiring until at least spring, according to the first 2009 Employment Outlook Report based on a recent study by the Direct Marketing Association and Bernhart Associates Executive Search LLC.
