Exclusive Invitation to the Caples Awards & DMNews Creative Jam

I would like to extend a personal invitation to attend the 31st John Caples International Awards dinner and first DMNews Global Creative Jam, a forum for agency creatives and marketing executives to discuss the issues facing the industry.

The Caples Awards is at a critical moment in its history. Before Caples founder Andi Emerson’s death in 2008, she was determined to ensure Caples' continuity and, moreover, its growth into an even bigger and more celebrated event. Last year, Andi and the Caples board agreed to enter into an important partnership with DMNews, part of Haymarket Media, to produce and manage the event.

The partnership with DMNews has already proved to be a big success. We judged nearly 900 entries to the awards this year, and some 70 judges from around the world took part in the process. This year's Awards dinner on March 19th will be the best yet, taking place at Capitale, a hip downtown Manhattan location. DMNews is also convening a unique forum called the Global Creative Jam on the day of the Awards dinner. The Jam will include a series of in-depth roundtable discussions, as well as presentations from creative and marketing leaders, on the importance of taking creative risks. It will be an informative and intimate opportunity to glean best practices from the world's top minds and share your own concerns and solutions.

Your time is valuable. We’ve designed the day to ensure you receive the most benefit while away from the office. It is vital that you take part in industry activities, making the Awards Dinner and Global Creative Jam the prime opportunity. By purchasing a table at the dinner, or tickets for you and your team to attend both events, you are not only supporting the DM industry, but are also reaping the full benefits of membership to the elite community of creatives to which you already belong.

I have included registration details for both events below, and I look forward to seeing you on March 19th.

Best regards,

Cara Wood
Editor in chief

DMNews Global Creative Jam

We know budgets are limited at this time, so we wanted to offer you the most in one day. In conjunction with the awards dinner on March 19, DMNews is presenting a one-day Creative Jam on the importance of taking creative marketing risks, focusing on both the critical importance of standing out in the market, as well as the practical issues that can derail a creative execution.

The Jam will feature a series of intensive roundtable discussions between marketers and creatives, each one tackling a different perspective on the challenges of taking risks in marketing campaigns today. The roundtables will be led by creatives as well as marketing leaders, who will share their proprietary insights into selling in risky concepts, maintaining brand integrity with dangerous ideas, and how to forge winning partnerships between creatives and marketing leadership.

As an integral part of the Caples community, we would like to extend a special rate of $495, a $200 discount, to attend the event. It’s important to mention a Jam ticket includes complimentary attendance to the Caples Awards dinner. The price of $495 provides you a full day of events.

If you register for the Jam, please select “Jam Attendee” at the time of registration.

CLICK HERE to reserve your spot at the discount rate.

On behalf of DMNews and the John Caples International Awards, I thank you for your continued support of the DM industry, and I look forward to seeing you again on March 19. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Pilar Mustafa at +1 646 638 6059 or pilar.mustafa@haymarketmedia.com.
