Hotels.com launched "Virtual Vacation," an augmented reality microsite that allows consumers to virtually visit 10 US cities, on May 4. Young & Rubicam Chicago, Hotels.com's agency of record, created the campaign.
 

Kodak picks RightNow to bolster b-to-b customer service

Kodak has selected RightNow Technologies as its business-to-business customer service and support platform, the companies announced May 6. Kodak hired RightNow after an RFP process, but the imaging company would not disclose any additional information about the search.
 

Postal Service reports $1.9B six-month loss

The US Postal Service reported a net loss of $1.9 billion for the six months ending March 31. The agency also saw a $1.6 billion net loss in the second quarter of its 2010 fiscal year, which was a year-over-year improvement of about $300 million. Despite beating internal forecasts for the quarter, the organization is on track to lose nearly $7 billion this fiscal year, which ends September 30.
 

GroupM's Kinetic launches trend-tracking unit
