Frito-Lay's SunChips brand is running a multichannel campaign to promote a compostable chip bag it introduced on March 31. The effort includes banner ads, online video, social media and search marketing. The brand's ad agency, Juniper Park, and media agency, OMD, created the campaign.
 

Macy's Inc. to co-brand credit cards with American Express

Macy's Inc., owner of Macy's and Bloomingdale's, has partnered with American Express to create co-branded credit cards, which will be issued by Citi in the second half of this year. The partnership was announced March 31.

Norwalk, CT-based agency Media Horizons opened a data and analytics group on March 29. Led by Rick Child, VP of data and analytics at the agency, the group will develop models for clients' customer acquisition and retention efforts.
 

'Folio' and 'Audience Development' magazines merge

Red 7 Media has combined 'Folio' and 'Audience Development' magazines. 'Audience Development,' which had a frequency of 10 issues per year, is now polybagged quarterly with 'Folio,' which is distributed monthly. 'Audience Development' was first included in Folio's January 2010 issue.
 

J. Crew extends contract with Quad/Graphics, adds 'Crewcuts' duties

Apparel cataloger and retailer J. Crew signed a three-year contract extension with printer Quad/Graphics last month. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Quad/Graphics will add J. Crew's standalone title for its "Crewcuts" line of children's clothing to its duties.
