EBay to pay affiliates differently

EBay has introduced a new payment structure to its affiliate marketing program eBay Partner Network intended to more closely align payment to affiliates with the quality of traffic they drive to eBay. Quality Click Pricing is designed to further reward affiliates who drive incremental transactions on eBay and who send value buyers to the site.
 

Chase debuts loyalty card

Chase Card Services has released a new rewards card that targets affluent consumers called the Chase Sapphire, and is running an integrated marketing campaign that includes online ads, TV, print, events, PR and direct mail to promote it.
 

MySpace acquires iLike

Rupert Murdoch's social media giant MySpace has agreed to acquire iLike, a social music discovery site, in an acquisition whose terms were not disclosed. ILike was founded in 2006 and has since grown to having 55 million total users and 1.5 billion monthly impressions.
 

Mobile Commons appoints CEO

Mobile Commons appointed Anthony Risicato as CEO. He was previously general manager at Covario, an interactive analytics company. Risicato, a 15-year interactive marketing veteran, is expected to guide the mobile marketing services firm through its next phase of development, namely to grow the business's clientele.
