IT products and services direct seller CDW has named Ogilvy & Mather its advertising agency of record. The agency is responsible for traditional advertising, direct marketing and digital. Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago, is the lead agency on the account.
 

Sears Holdings adds online layaway for Sears, Kmart customers

Sears Holdings is bolstering the layaway programs of its Sears and Kmart stores with an online service. The program will launch October 9. Sears told 'DMNews' in August that it was seeing more use of layaway service during the back-to-school season. Therefore, it will make the service available to more consumers.
 

FoodNetwork.com debuts Halloween video series

FoodNetwork.com is running a series of online videos featuring spooky recipes to celebrate Halloween and to connect with the network's fans. The network created the Web exclusive videos to drive traffic to its site during the pre-Halloween season, one of the biggest times of year for the portal. It hopes to entertain and engage its fans with the endeavor, and attract new viewers.
 

Ubisoft promotes Ninja Turtles anniversary with integrated effort

Video game maker Ubisoft has released a promotional game and launched a campaign to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The integrated effort, which was created by interactive agency Pereira & O'Dell, includes direct mail, display ads, TV, print and online video.
