Net-A-Porter to launch men's site in 2011

Online retailer Net-A-Porter will launch a male counterpart to its 10-year-old women's luxury site in January. Named "Mr. Porter," the e-commerce portal will sell clothes from high-end apparel brands, such as Ralph Lauren, Burberry and YSL.
 

Rodale rebrands custom publishing group

Rodale has rebranded its Rodale Custom Publishing division to Rodale Custom Content & Marketing.Though the move comes after both Meredith Corp. and Hearst Corp. beefed up their marketing capabilities, the company is not simply riding an industry trend, said Valerie Valente, senior VP and publishing director at Rodale.
 

Tiffany & Co. aids ring-shopping with iPhone app

Luxury jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. has introduced an iPhone and iPod Touch application that let shoppers browse engagement rings and size them. The app, known as the "Engagement Ring Finder," was developed in response to consumer demand and launched June 14.
