One to One Interactive acquires Twelve Horses

One to One Interactive, a digital marketing firm based in Boston, has acquired Reno, NV-based agency Twelve Horses. Terms of the deal, announced September 14, were not disclosed. One to One will add Twelve Horses' Reno, NV, and Salt Lake City offices to its Charlestown, MA headquarters.
 

Turn promotes Demas to CEO

Digital advertising network Turn promoted president and COO Bill Demas to CEO, effective September 10. Former chief executive Jim Barnett took the role of chairman. Demas is charged with growing both the company's client list and its technology offerings.
 

DM veteran Montroy passes away at 64

Rosemarie Montroy, a 20-year veteran of the direct marketing industry, died September 10 at the age of 64 after a brief battle with lung cancer. She was most recently CMO at Direct Media Millard.
 

Sundrop loyalty program integrates Facebook to promote restaurants

Sundrop Systems, an Orlando, FL-based text messaging service provider, is integrating social media into its LoyalTXT program by using Facebook Connect. The program, which creates and builds marketing databases, is promoting a client base mostly comprised of local and chain restaurants, as well as retail stores.

September 14, 2009

Two additional segments of the Kompass masterfile, awarded to Worldata earlier this year, are now available. The Kompass International Finance Professionals list includes finance and accounting personnel, managers, directors, financial analysts, financial planners and CFOs. Many multichannel merchants are compelled to cut catalog circulation because of the current economic picture. Some retailers, however, are doing so in the name of "mailing smarter."
