UPS Inc. said it will be conducting a global ad agency review. Its incumbent US agency, The Martin Agency, is invited to participate, said Karen Cole, UPS spokesperson. The review will cover global advertising, media buying, relationship marketing and digital services, she said.

Condé Nast Portfolio has ended its short but dramatic run. The May issue, out now, will be the last for the glossy business magazine. Launched with much fanfare in May 2007, Portfolio has published only 21 issues. As of December 31, total paid and verified circulation was 449,005 — 12.3% higher than its rate base of 400,000.
 

FootSmart signs with ExactTarget for personalized e-mails

Foot healthcare products cataloger and online retailer FootSmart has teamed up with ExactTarget for personalized e-mail marketing campaigns aimed at baby boomers. Through ExactTarget's integration with FootSmart.com's customer database and Web analytics provider Coremetrics, the company will develop a profile of each customer based on online browsing and purchase history data coupled with offline purchases from FootSmart's catalog mailings.
 

Coors debuts interactive site to support new cold can

The Coors Brewing Company has launched a new marketing program to support its new Coors Light "cold-activated" cans. On May 15, Coors will introduce eight-, 10-, 12- and 16-ounce Coors Light and Coors Banquet in the cans, which let drinkers know when the beer is at the optimal drinking temperature by turning the mountain design on the can blue.
