Visa debuts new global ad campaign

Less than six months after Visa became a public company and began its intial public offering (IPO), it has launched a new global advertising campaign.This is part of the brand's new effort to consolidate its global marketing work, which includes media buying and global creative advertising, under a single Visa brand.
 

Hachette Filipacchi gives its women's mags a makeover

Hachette Filipacchi Media, the world's largest magazine publisher, announced today it is reorganizing the management structure of its chief women's magazines. The company said it would be creating "brand groups" centered around the women's titles, each led by chief brand officers, which are newly created positions.

Dress Barn brand Maurices to debut e-commerce

Dress Barn, Inc., which owns women's apparel chains Dressbarn and Maurices, signed a multi-year agreement with GSI Commerce. GSI will provide e-commerce technology, fulfillment and design services to the Maurices brand, which has never before had an online retail platform.
 

MADD taps Orange Leap for database consolidation

Advocacy group Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has selected Orange Leap for its fundraising, constituent, and database management. Dallas-based Orange Leap will provide software to allow MADD to consolidate its numerous databases and better communicate with supporters.

The multimedia campaign featured TV spots and print ads all designed to show consumers all of the things in their life they could "fold" into their Vodaphone device, including maps, music, television and the Web.
