Harte-Hanks Inc. said its operating revenue for the three months ended June 30 totaled $274.8 million, down 5.3%. Second quarter diluted earnings per share were 29 cents, compared to diluted earnings per share of 31 cents in Q2 2007.

Espera, catering to expectant mothers, will be renamed Ser Padres Espera, and 12 Meses, which focuses on the first year of an infant's life, will become Ser Padres Bebe.

HomeVestors of America Inc. will begin using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 in its corporate offices and all 240 franchise offices in an effort to improve tracking of its three-way sales cycle across the company. Microsoft Dynamics CRM will help HomeVestors track leads and purchases when HomeVestors is buying houses, monitor repairs on the houses and track the resale of the houses.

In response to criticism from PETA and other animal rights groups regarding TV spots featuring pit bulls in choke chains, McCann Erickson client Verizon reportedly said it didn't intend to offend. Last week, Virgin Mobile faced criticism from religious groups over its "Strip2Clothe" video contest, which had asked people to send videos of themselves undressing to raise money for the homeless. The company later renamed the push "Blank2Clothe," extending the contest to include any action, not just stripping.

Position Summary
Lead all aspects of the direct marketing database: circulation/list management, data hygiene and data information strategy.

Responsibilities
Serve as direct marketing database strategist, working with IT to create new fields for customer segmentation. Oversee and develop marketing database hygiene tactics and hygiene team.
