Two and a half years after its beta launch, Google Page Creator is being phased out and replaced by the more robust Google Sites product. All current Google Pages will be moved to a Google Site by the end of the year, and no new Page Creator accounts are being accepted.

Yahoo OneSearch new default search engine on AT&T MEdia Net

Yahoo OneSearch is now the default mobile search engine on AT&T's MEdia Net portal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bruce Stewart, VP and GM of Yahoo's Connected Life Americas, said the companies were focused on two major areas for expansion.
 

T-shirt search engine PleaseDressMe.com launches

PleaseDressMe.com, a new T-shirt search engine, launched on September 1. There is no easy way to search for specific T-shirts on the myriad sites that sell them, said AJ Vaynerchuk, a senior at Boston University who started the site with his brother Gary Vaynerchuk, a wine video blogger; and friend Joe Stump, a lead architect for Digg.com.
 

Amazon introduces in-browser video streaming

Amazon.com customers can now stream movies and television shows on their Web browsers through the Amazon Video On Demand service. Previously, customers needed the Amazon Unbox application or a TiVo box to buy from Amazon Video On Demand.
 

Publicis Groupe acquires Seattle-based agency PBJS

Publicis Groupe has acquired Seattle-based digital marketing and events agency PBJS. PBJS was formed about two and a half years ago, following the merger of Insight Creative and Optimobius Inc., and currently employs 26 people. Its clients include Microsoft, AT&T, Intel, Sephora and the Boys & Girls Club of America.
