Citi teams with Amazon for bigger loyalty program

Citigroup Inc. has partnered with Amazon.com Inc. to add select Amazon merchandise and services to its rewards program offerings. Members of Citi's ThankYou Rewards Network can use points accrued through the loyalty program to purchase products offered on and fulfilled through Amazon.com.
 

Tommy Bahama turns to Acxiom for first loyalty efforts

Luxury retailer Tommy Bahama has tapped Acxiom Corporation to help lead its first foray into loyalty and database marketing. Acxiom is providing direct marketing services, data hygiene, segmentation and analytics to the brand, which has bricks and mortar and online retail operations as well as wholesale and restaurants.

Harrah's makes loyalty mobile

Casino operator Harrah's Operating Company Inc. is testing a new mobile-based loyalty program from bCode. Inter­nally, the program is known as "T.I.P." for "Texting Important People." T.I.P., in test mode at Harrah's Atlantic City, Harrah's New Orleans and Show­boat Atlantic City, is an opt-in program that allows guests of Harrah's casinos to receive special offers from the com­pany via text message.
 

Hasler turns to Bluewolf, Salesforce

Hasler Inc., a provider of postage and handling products, has deployed two custom CRM applications from Salesforce.com with the help of software-as-a-service (SaaS) consulting firm Bluewolf. The Salesforce offerings are being used by Hasler dealers nationwide, replacing a variety of other systems and creating a standardized database throughout the company.
