Digital Insider: Donnelley's move to a more integrated approach

Donnelley Marketing, a division of InfoGroup, announced on November 23 it has named Jean Moseley VP of solution delivery. A 14-year veteran of the company, she is mandated with ensuring the company's technology and capabilities are consistent with clients' needs and customer behavior. Prior to this, she was director of product strategy. The company also brought Eric Raymond on board as VP of sales and promoted Cece Hawkins to VP of business development from director of business development. 'DMNews' spoke with Moseley about Donnelley Marketing's move to a more integrated approach, the need to grow with customers and the importance of data.

Google to acquire Teracent

Google, in the midst of a buying spree, has acquired display ad network company Teracent. Terms of the deal, announced November 23, were not disclosed. The search giant announced the acquisition of Gizmo5, a company that makes software for Internet-based calling on mobile phones and computers, and the buy of mobile display ad network AdMob this month.
 

Muscle Milk releases playful Thankgiving viral video

CytoSport, the maker of sports drink Muscle Milk, is conducting a viral video campaign for Thanksgiving. The effort, which launched November 19, features a comical viral video in which a partying pilgrim sings about flirting his way to the New World. The spot is running on YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and at www.sexypilgrim.com.
 

Intel debuts viral gift card holiday campaign

Intel is conducting a digital e-card campaign that lets users make personalized 3-D cards to send to their friends and family. The campaign, launched November 16, runs through the end of the year. It features a Web site where consumers can create e-cards and view information on Intel products.
 

Coca-Cola to send 'Happiness Ambassadors' around the world in social media effort

Coca-Cola will run a social media campaign in which three brand ambassadors will spend next year traveling the world and documenting their trip on the Web. Armed with a blog and a video camera, the group's steps will be tracked on Expedition206.com, where fans can follow the journey and find out more information about the ambassadors and their efforts.
 

MasterCard debuts mobile payments platform in Brazil

MasterCard introduced Mobile Payments Gateway, a mobile payments processing platform, in Brazil on November 16. The service gives consumers the ability to use their phones as payment devices and link their existing credit, debit or prepaid MasterCard accounts to fund mobile payments.
