Intercontinental Hotels Group launched a $100 million global, integrated campaign April 30 for its Holiday Inn brand, the largest in its history. The effort supports the hotel group's ongoing rebranding that is expected to be completed later this year and has included the overhaul of more than 2,200 hotels to date.
First quarter earnings for the majority of advertising holding companies showed significant gains over last year's numbers, a clear sign that the advertising market has stabilized after the recent recession.
