Hilton and JetBlue enter loyalty partnership

Hilton has joined its HHonors loyalty program with its JetBlue counterpart, TrueBlue, in an initiative that gives consumers TrueBlue points for stays at Hilton hotels. Members can also convert HHonors points into TrueBlue points under the terms of the agreement, which began April 14.
 

InterContinental names Ogilvy AOR for global customer marketing

InterContinental Hotels Group named Ogilvy & Mather its agency of record for global customer marketing, working across a broad range of marketing disciplines, on April 13.
 

Colonial Life works with Maximizer on CRM

Maximizer Software will release version 11 of its CRM software on April 14. Client Colonial Life, a South Carolina-based insurance company, has used the platform since late last month.
 

Canon extends loyalty program to video customers

Imaging equipment manufacturer Canon USA expanded its Professional Services loyalty program to video customers, as of April 9. The program, created internally, was previously only available to still photography customers.
 

American Express, Dunkin' Donuts partner on rewards initiative

American Express began a partnership with Dunkin' Donuts on April 7 to give members of its Blue Savings Program rewards for shopping at the coffee chain. Cardholders of the Blue, Blue Cash or Blue Sky cards can participate in the initiative.

I'd like to suggest that today there is a new Moore's Law — this one named for Michael Moore, the documentarian who has taken up causes and created films on subjects that affect the common person. This Moore's Law is: "Tell your story, or have it told for you."
